Jennifer and Devin Woodley exchanged vows on August 12, 2011 in Brooklyn, New York. This is their wedding story.

Jennifer stubbornly refused to buy her gown at first, because it was the first one she’d every tried on and she thought for sure she needed to see other options. But it was so perfect she wound up going back for The One. Isn’t it a beauty?

I knew Devin was the one after my stay at his family home," says Jennifer. “Devin pulled out all the stops during the four days I spent with him. I was really in awe at how thoughtful and kind he was.”
We’re loving the look of Jennifer’s sexy one-shoulder gown paired with her bridesmaids short and sweet gowns. This scene is just dripping with romance.

“Devin’s family is from St. Kitts and Nevis and our first trip as a couple there was amazing,” says Jennifer. “My family is from Jamaica and Guyana. Devin’s first trip to Jamaica was like watching a kid in a candy shop.”
Wearing pretty tutus and carrying dainty little baskets, the couple’s flower girls prepare the church for the bride’s big arrival.
“My father passed away in 2003 and I miss him every day,” says Jennifer. “of course I wanted to represent him in every way possible during this special day. I wrapped my bouquet in one of his neckties.”
The couple chose to hold their ceremony at the Church of St. Luke and St. Matthew where her mother has attended for over 20 years.
One of the things Jennifer and Devin enjoy most about their time together is “laughing at every and any thing.”

“Many people are still saying I was the happiest bride they’ve ever seen because I never sat down,” says Jennifer.
After dancing with her new husband, Jennifer paid special tribute to her father. During what would have been the father-daughter dance the couple chose to play a slideshow of photos of Jennifer and her father. which left the bride overcome with emotion. What a lovely and special way to pay tribute.
