The couple chose the magnificent Oheka Castle for their special day.
The bride and groom chose vintage style wedding attire to compliment the historic grounds and their modern meets vintage theme.
As the sun sets on their wedding day Aretha and James share an intimate moment between just the two of them, captured here by their amazing photographer.
Aretha penned a hand-written love note just for James on the property’s signature notepad then left it for him to find.

As Aretha poses in front of the lovely Oheka Castle, you can tell she feels like a true queen.
“I knew James was the one when my mother cried her eyes out when he was preparing to go away for college,’ recalls Aretha. “You would have thought James was her own son.”
Aretha and James’ four year old son was the ring bearer at their wedding. “James is a role model father,” says Aretha. “Every minute we spend together as a family is a favorite moment.”
“I knew I’d found The One immediately after slipping it on,” shares Aretha about her lovely wedding dress. “Everyone present in the salon was in awe. It fit like a glove and yet it was so comfortable. I was totally sold.”
Aretha spared no details when it came to planning her modern meets vintage wedding affair. We just love her shoe pic, and we bet they were super comfy. Win-win!
James waits patiently for his beautiful bride to make her way down the aisle.

“He is hands down the best thing that has happened to both me and my family,” Aretha says when asked why she chose James to be her one and only.
Now isn’t this one fine group of brothers? They nailed the look and we love it!
Now the ladies take their turn in the study to pose for picture perfect memories.
One word: Fabulous!
“We exchanged vows outdoors, then headed inside for the cocktail hour, which was then followed by an unforgettable formal sit-down dinner,” says Aretha.
Aretha and James share their first dance together.
The romantic rose and carnation centerpieces in pink and white instantly gave the reception space a romantic upgrade.
We adore the lovely pearl accents on the cake and flower arrangements. Absolutely gorgeous!
“We planned every single detail of the wedding together from start to finish,” says Aretha on her hands-on hubby.
“My family is from Jamaica, so in keeping with the island tradition, James and I gave our guests fruit cake placed in a custom cake box,” says Aretha.
“What I loved most, was seeing hardly anyone sitting down,” says Aretha. “Everyone danced the night away and simply had a ball!”
