Only a true diva could have two wedding anniversaries. Vanessa Williams, star of VH1’s upcoming scripted series Daytime Divas took us on a trip down memory lane via her Instagram in celebration of her special day with her husband Jim Skrip. The actress shared a photo from her wedding ceremony in honor of one year since marrying Jim, a businessman, for the second time.
Yes, that’s right! The couple married each other twice. Vanessa and Jim were first married on July 4, 2015, but decided to tie the knot once again in a Catholic ceremony at her church home on May 30, 2016. She shared with People, “Jim is a real man. You want somebody in your life who has integrity, who is solid, who knows who he is. He’s romantic and he’s a great guy.”
Vanessa first met Jim during a vacation in Egypt in 2013, and the couple were engaged a year later. This is Vanessa’s third marriage.
