Congratulations are in order for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his wife Lauren Hashian. The pair made it official, exchanging vows in a picturesque Hawaiian wedding ceremony.
The Rock announced their August 18th wedding date on Instagram. Posting a photo of himself and his bride wearing all white, the actor shared the incredible news with his followers. “We do.
August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed),” he wrote. In the second photo of the post, the couple kissed beneath the serene Hawaiian sunset.
Johnson and Hashian first met in 2006 on the set of the film The Game Plan. They have two daughters: Jasmine, 3, and Tia, 1. Johnson also has an 18-year-old daughter named Simone, 18, with his ex-wife Dany Garcia.
In a July 2018 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Johnson was asked about when he planned to marry Hashian. ““I just refer to her as my wife all the time,” he replied. “So a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, did you get married?’ I’m like, ‘No. Easy. Don’t rush big daddy.”
