Tamron Hall Is Finding Her Groove As A Working Mom

The talk show host says help is key to finding balance.
Tamron Hall Moved To Tears At Essence Festival Talking About Her TV Comeback
By Jasmine Grant · Updated December 6, 2020

Working moms know that balancing work, childcare and personal time can be the ultimate struggle until you find a solid routine. Celebrity moms are no exception. That’s why we appreciate Tamron Hall for keeping it all the way real about her journey as a new and working, mother.

Hall has had her hands full all year with her son Moses who was born in April and a new talk show premiering next month. When asked by Us Weekly how she finds her balance, Hall gave a very honest answer. “There is no balance,” she tells the magazine at the TCA Summer Press Tour. “I’m doing the best I can [and] I have help. My mother’s there with my son, and I also have a nanny who’s helping me. I couldn’t do this by myself. … I’m trying and it’s been a beautiful three months.”

Though she didn’t expect all these life-changing moments would unfold at the same time, Hall remains grateful for the blessings. “I probably would not have planned it like this, but clearly the universe had something else in mind. … I’ve learned from my family and my friends and other women [that] cracking under pressure is OK. Going in the corner and crying is OK, just don’t cry too long, dust yourself off, put your white jacket on, and try to do the best you can!”

Hall announced in April that she gave birth to her baby boy with her husband, Steven Greener. “Moses & Mama!! I can’t wait to introduce y’all to my #sonshine,” the former Today host captioned her Instagram announcement at the time. “Photo credit: Dad who can’t stop crying tears of joy. Thank y’all for the love and support. It got us here.”

As for baby Moses, it appears he just as pumped as mama for her new talk show.
