Reunited and it feels so good!
Real Housewives Of Potomac star Robyn Dixon and ex-husband Juan Dixon are starting fresh – so fresh, they’ll be walking down the aisle for the second time. The reality star and former NBA player shared the happy news of their second marriage proposal via Instagram. “Sweeter the second time around,” Robyn captioned a photo series of her hubby-to-be down on one knee. “Thank you to everyone who loved, supported, rooted and prayed for Juan and I. We truly appreciate all of the love and congratulatory wishes as we embark on #DixonsPartDeux.”
Robyn also dropped some details about her non-traditional morganite engagement ring, designed by Nicole Rose Jewelry. “I fell in love with the Pink Morganite stone because I wanted something with significance and meaning. Morganite represents unconditional love – something that our relationship exhibits and has relied upon.”
Juan, a former NBA player, originally proposed to Robyn in Oct. 2005, and the couple wed in July 2006. Although they divorced in 2012, Robyn and Juan continued living under the same roof to co-parent their two sons, Corey and Carter.
In the years after their divorce, the Dixons repaired their bond and reestablished their relationship. At the RHOP season 4 reunion, Robyn opened up about the frustrations she feels trying to explain her complicated relationship with Juan. “It’s hard to explain,” she said. “It’s honestly a bond, a family bond. It’s about our boys. It’s about the history that we have,” she shared. And it gets frustrating trying to make people understand it, because if you’re not in it, you don’t understand.”
