On Saturday afternoon, sophisticated ladies from across New York City gathered in Brooklyn for “The Makers Present: Brunch with Belle,” an invite-only event to celebrate women’s history month and ESSENCE’s own Relationship Editor, Demetria L. Lucas.
The sold-out event provided influential women with a platform for dialogue with their peers. The attendees of the brunch are women “who affect change, the risk takers, doers, and the makers of things.”
At the brunch, Demetria L. Lucas revealed the cover of her upcoming book (on sale in June), A Belle in Brooklyn: The Go-to Girl for Advice on Living Your Best Single Life.
