In 1993 Halle Berry and former baseball player David Justice brought in the New Year with a wedding shortly after midnight on January 1st.
Sadly, Halle and David’s romance was short lived. On February 22, 1996, they announced that their marriage had ended. At the time, rumors spread that the break-up was David’s idea and Halle was heartbroken.
It was love at first sight when singer Eric Benet locked eyes with leading lady Halle Berry in 1999 at the “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge” premiere party. In late 2005 the couple, who were often spotted cuddling and kissing while out and about, was said to have called it quits due to Halle’s lack of commitment. To this day, Ealy insists they were just better as friends and remain close.
In 2005, Berry began dating model Gabriel Aubry, whom she met in Los Angeles while working on a Versace ad. At that time, Aubry and Berry’s relationship appeared to be blissful and picture perfect. They put their love on the fast-track and made plans to start a family — announcing they were expecting their first child in 2007. Berry gave birth to a baby girl named Nahla Ariela Aubry on March 16, 2008, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
News that there was trouble brewing between Berry and Aubry hit the tabloids in early 2009. The pair appeared more and more tense together and eventually announced they had split. An ugly custody battle soon followed.
Shortly after her breakup with Aubry, Berry began dating French actor Olivier Martinez in the Fall of 2010. From all accounts, she’d finally found her dream guy. These days, it’s hard to catch a glimpse of the jet setting pair, who met on the set of the film “Dark Tide”, because they’re so busy being a “normal couple”, they blend right in.
Although the Oscar-winning actress publicly vowed never to marry again many times before, on January 11, 2012, news broke that Halle Berry is engaged to her French beau, actor Olivier Martinez.
