Congratulations are due for comedian Mike Epps and producer Kyra Epps, who are expecting a beautiful bundle of joy in 2020.
The mommy-to-be shared the beautiful news on Instagram with a gorgeous maternity shot. Dress in a sheer white leotard and long hair cascading down her shoulder, Mrs. Epps embraces her growing bump. “There is so much LIFE inside of me,” she captioned the black and white photo.
Mike Epps also shared the photo on his Instagram page, writing “God bless my beautiful wife and our newborn Epps on the way.”
This is the first child of Mike and Kyra Epps, who got married just this year in a star-studded California ceremony. ESSENCE shared the couple’s very first wedding photos exclusively. The ceremony, held at the renowned Resort at Pelican Hill, was attended by 200 of the Epps’s closest family and friends. Celebrity guests included Snoop Dogg, T.I., Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Doug E. Fresh and more.
Mike Epps, who has five daughters from previous relationships and one granddaughter, told The View that he’s an overprotective father when it comes to his girls dating. “If [the guys they bring home] are anything like I was when I was a kid, I’m going to get ’em,” he joked. The comedian also told People in June 2016 that he’d one day like to have a son.
