Maria and Nakia started off as high school sweethearts and have stayed ‘crazy in love’ ever since. When Nakia decided it was time to pop the question, he knew just the place to do it – at her college graduation!
Nakia also knew Tamika Nelson was the perfect photographer to capture this life-changing moment. The two had met years prior when she did his family’s photo shoot. “His family absolutely adores and loves Maria soooo much!,” Tamika wrote in the caption. “They expressed that to me! This has been in the works since January!!”
