Malinda and D-Nice were friends for years before he made a special video for Malinda expressing his deeper feelings. The music man had Mary J. Blige’s “Be Without You” playing as photos of Malinda flashed on the screen.
The two entertainers hit it off right away and understood each other’s hectic schedules in the business.

Malinda doesn’t wait for special occasions to appreciate the things that make her smile.
“I’m grateful I have my husband in my life and celebrate my marriage and him every day,” she says.
Both had been in relationships before that didn’t work out and relish the special bond they found.
Malinda admits her first year of marriage has really only felt like a few months.
“They say time flies when you’re having fun, and this is much more than that,” she says.
Malinda shares the secret to her happy relationship: live in the present.
“You have to forget what happened in the past, whether with your partner or your mother.”
The social scene is a natural part of their lives in entertainment. For Malinda, her happiest times with her husband are in their backyard.
“I love the most when he’s in the backyard cutting down trees and I’m in the garden cultivating tomatoes,” she says.
The lovebirds are looking forward to what the future holds, including more happy times together.
