During his short but impactful life, Nipsey Hussle wore many hats. Musician, entrepreneur, mentor, partner and most importantly…father.
His longtime girlfriend, Lauren London, has been keeping his memory alive with a series of Instagram posts dedicated to the late rapper. On Father’s Day, she let the world in on who Nipsey was as a Dad. Sharing a photo of herself holding their son Kross with Nipsey smiling down at him, she writes, “One of the reasons I fell in Love with You….Your Fatherhood. Today we celebrate You. Love you Ermias.”
London, who appears in the new BET series Games People Play, shared a few more post on her Instastory in honor of Nipsey.
Father’s Day understandably was a tough one for London, who shared that she “sent a lot of prayers to Heaven last night” while grieving the loss of her partner.
The couple, who first met in 2013, dated for five years and welcomed their son Kross Ermias Asghedom in 2016. London has a 9-year-old son, Cameron, from her previous relationship with Lil’ Wayne. Hussle also has a daughter, Emani, whom he loved dearly. London painted the picture of just how devoted of a father Hussle was, sharing this photo of him with his two children.
The actress also sent love to women who have lost fathers, lost sons, and women raising children whose fathers have passed away. “I’m sending you all of my love and strength today, “she writes. “I’m with you.”
