There’s about to be a new addition to the Franklin family!
Kirk Franklin recently revealed that he and his wife Tammy Franklin are expecting a grandchild. The happy news comes by way of their daughter Carrington, who is expecting a son with her husband Maxx Nakwaasah.
The gospel singer reposted his daughter and son-in-law’s pregnancy announcement, joking, “I didn’t even know they was having relations.”
Tammy Franklin reposted the news, writing, “Y’all I can barely contain my excitement. This lil boy is already so loved❤️! 1 Samuel 1:27 for this child I’ve prayed.”
The expecting couple’s adorable pregnancy announcement shows them in matching Nike sneakers. A board with the baby’s ultrasound photo says that baby #carmaxx is making his grand debut in April 2020.
No need to worry…Carmaxx is not the baby’s actual name according to mom.
Kirk and Tammy Franklin, who married in 1996, have four children in total. The couple shares two children, Kennedy and Caziah. Their son Kerrion is Franklin’s eldest child from a previous relationship. Carrington is Tammy’s daughter from a previous relationship whom Kirk adopted.
