College sweethearts Shara, 31, a global public policy consultant, and Reginald, 30, a marketing consultant, first locked eyes back in college during their days at Florida A&M University. They were instantly smitten, and now they’re headed to the chapel on October 6, 2012 in Atlanta. Share their love!
After falling in love and dating all four years at FAMU, Shara and Reginald graduated and moved to different cities. It was quite a challenge for their love, but things worked out beautifully in the end. “Reggie was promoted to a new position in Indianapolis and the same year I started a new job there too,” says Shara.
“I knew Reggie was the ‘The One’ when I organized FAMU’s first Relay for Life because he was my biggest champion and constant supporter when I thought the event wouldn’t succeed,” says Shara.

Shara and Reginald are proud parents to an English Bulldog named Big Biscuit. “He’s our little buddy and trail run at parenting,” admits Shara, who tell us BB was a gift from her boo. "He adds so much to our lives and will definitely be in the wedding.
Reginald proposed to Shara with a handmade scrapbook featuring their story from start to finish and the last page was blank and the title read “wedding page.” He pulled out a ring and she couldn’t hold back her tears of joy.
“I love my ring,” says Shara. “It has a vintage feel with a classic cut. I still stare at it and just smile.”
“Reginald is intelligent, grounded and kind,” says Shara.
“Family is paramount to both of us, so it was very important that we got along with each others’ families,” admits Shara. “I love the fact that Reggie and my dad are so alike and get along so seamlessly.”
