Where and how did you meet your man?
Tommie and I met at a Superbowl house party in 2006.
Were you looking for love at the time?
Not really, but I’ve always been a total optimist when it comes to love so I thought anyone I met could potentially be ‘the one.’
What was your first impression of him?
He seemed cool, kind of corny — just like me.
What was his first impression of you?
He was breath-taken, of course!
At what moment did you know he was “The One” for you?
It’s the weirdest thing, but it was very, very early on in our relationship. I was at his house one day, and we were getting ready to go somewhere. I took a picture of us on my phone, and once I saw that picture, I remember telling my sister, ‘We look so cute together; we are going to get married one day.’
Why is he the best man for you?
So many reasons, but I’ll keep it short: He is a wonderful provider, he has a plan for our future, he is the male version of me, in that, he is corny, loves to have a good time and is pretty laid back. He completes me. I love him so much!
