Renee says the first time she met Demetrius it was like a breath of fresh air. “I thought he was extremely handsome, very tall and appeared to be very strong,” she shares. “I was excited!”
The weirdest date Renee and her man have ever been on centered around good company but terrible weather. “We went to a restaurant in the middle of a storm,” she shares. “We figured we’d have the entire place to ourselves so we thought it would be the perfect time to go.”
The happy couple have been together for five years. “I can truly say that we have been together every day since meeting,” shares Renee.
Being himself is the sweetest thing Demetrius can ever do for his speical lady. “He is sweet every single day,” Renee spills. “He loves me and my children, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
Renee couldn’t be any happier that Demetrius agreed with her the first time she told him she loved him. “I said I love you first, and he then responded with the same reply,” she boasts.
It’s the little things that Renee and Demetrius most enjoy bonding over, like trips to Walmart, driving adventures to Austin, Texas and rooting for their favorite sports teams.
Renee says Demetrius’ proposal was a short and sweet one, followed by a gorgeous engagement ring to seal the deal. “I have a round diamond,” says future bride. “Might I add, it’s a very nice size!”
Demetrius was certain about being in love with Renee from early on in their relationship.”She’s a very caring person and has completed me in every way possible,” he shares. “I prayed for her and God definitely answered my prayers!”
The lovestruck duo love each other’s eyes. Demetrius says he’s also captivated by Renee’s sweet smile, while she admits that she absolutely adores his lips and hands.
The groom-to-be says proposing was a breeze because he had no doubt in his mind that Renee was the one for him. “I knew for sure that this was the woman I wanted to spend my entire life with,” he spills.
Renee’s loved ones completely adore Demetrius. Her family has practically adopted him, while her friends think he balances her out better than anyone else ever could.
Demetrius was funny, sweet and charming when Renee first met him and she says that none of those great qualities have changed, even after dating him for over half a decade.
The lovely pair aren’t certain about the deets of their wedding just yet, but they do know that they’d like to spend their honeymoon somewhere warm and near water. Renee’s must-haves for their romantic getaway include flip flops, perfume and her bathing suit, of course.
While Renee can’t wait to travel with her new hubby once they say “I do,” Demetrius says he’s most excited about finally calling his longtime girlfriend his “wife.”
The pair can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together and they plan to stand by one another no matter what.
