“Having that day marked on the calendar gives you something to really be excited about,” says Kimberly.
A gorgeous photo of the couple on the pier. It looks like something right out of a magazine.
“I think he actually couldn’t stand me [when we first met],” says Kimberly. “I always had something to say and loved clowning on him…it was so easy!”
“I hadn’t met too many women prior to Kim who would go out of their way to spend time with me and that means a lot.”
The couple huddle together for a romantic picture on the water. Don’t you just want to jump into this photo and enjoy the perfect day.
“Kim does a wonderful job of paying attention to the little things,” says Jasper when asked what he loves about his wife-to-be.
“Her presence in my life has a way of dissolving all problems and providing a sense of calm and happiness,’ Jasper says.
“Being a young knucklehead in college, I assumed I knew what it took to be a ‘man in the relationship,’ however, I didn’t have a clue,” says Jasper. “I can say now I truly understand.”
The couple loves to travel together and recently took a trip to Turks and Caicos together.
“Recently we have gained a new hobby in attending weddings,” says Kimberly. “During the past year we have been to or in a variety of weddings!”
When Jasper proposed Kimberly turned ‘beet red’ from excitement!
“I feel like what is special about my proposal is it was me all the way,” says Kimberly. “Pretty casual, relaxed, a bit goofy, but memorable at the same time.”
“When you spend so much time with another person, you tend to learn about them and grow from there.”
“The most exciting part of being engaged is riding the wave and having something exciting to look forward to.”
“I got Kim a paper Japanese umbrella, that I had her name put on in Japanese letters…which will always serve as a reminder of the day.”
“I knew all along the woman for me, though the picture wasn’t clear at the time, I knew in my heart the woman I wanted to marry.”
A perfect picture in a silhouette. We wish Kimberly and Jasper a life filled with blessings and happiness! See more photos from their engagement shoot at The Bride’s Cafe.
