The happy couple hit it off immediately in Brazil after locking eyes at a dance show. Now, the madly in love pair are ready to be officially united in matrimony in an “artsy, vibrant” wedding ceremony this September. Let’s celebrate their love!
“I never believed in love at first sight until I met Caique,” says Joy. “However, when I met him in Brazil, I learned how powerful, instant and true love at first sight could be.”
Joy and Caique saw something special in each other from the start. “I thought that he was the most beautiful sight that I have ever seen,” shares Joy. “And, he says that he thought I was beautiful too.”
What does Joy say you’ll probably catch her and Caique doing on a Friday night? “Cuddling and relaxing with him playing the guitar and singing to me.”
The love bugs dated for two years (international, long distance) before getting engaged and coming together.
Joy’s friends and family are head over heels for her honey Caique. “My friends think he’s such a sweet and fun soul who loves me,” she spills.
These two are the definition of picture-perfect.
The happy couple really cherishs the little things about each other. “Caique exudes sweetness,” says the bride-to-be.
Joy says Caique is a man of many talents and he’s not afraid to share those gifts with her. “The sweetest thing that he does for me right now is doing my hair, and he always cooks for me,” she says.
Although they were both smitten from the start, Joy says Caique was the first to say “I love you.”
Joy says it’s Caique’s gentle spirit that really sealed the deal for her. “When I saw the way he treated others, learned about his perception of the world and experienced his gentle spirit, I knew that he was rare and my soulmate.”
Joy is certain Caique is the right man for her. “His love is truly unconditional,” she says. “And, he’s very patient with me which takes a strong man.”
Joy and Caique have romantic picnics together often and they aren’t afraid to show their love and devotion for one another wherever they are.
“I think he chose to marry me because we value the same principles in life,” the bride-to-be shares.
“I love the fact that she is compassionate and works hard to make a positive difference in the world,” says Caique of his loving fiancée.
Caique says there’s a neverending list of things that made him fall in love with Joy: “Her voice, her smile, her sweet heart, and her love for others, to start.”
Caique knew Joy was ‘the one’ from the moment they first met. ” I just needed a couple of hours to find that the enchantment that I was feeling was actually love,” he says.
The pair can’t wait to call each other husband and wife. “I’m most looking forward to learning more about each other and growing as one,” says Joy.
