“He had a great sense of style, was very confident and had an intriguing sense of humor,” Jeronica says about her first impression of Keith. While the groom-to-be says it was Jeronica’s beauty and outgoing personality that really made her stand out.
The pair may not have been searching for love the second time they met, but Cupid had other plans in mind. “I wouldn’t say I was looking for love at that time,” says Jeronica. “But I was definitely open to the idea of getting to know him a little better.”
Keith’s dapper style wasn’t the only thing that caught Jeronica’s attention. His willingness to earn her love is really what won her over. “Initially, I made him work for my attention,” shared Jeronica. “A real man loves a challenge.”
Jeronica and Keith are excited to continue growing together as a couple. “I think he chose to marry me because we’ve been through a lot together and we make each other better,” spills the bride-to-be. “I’ve helped him to embrace things he would’ve never entertained before, and he knows that I support him and that I’m here for him no matter what.”
“I began to realize as time progressed that he was so consistent in my life, very supportive, and he always showed me unconditional love,” Jeronica tells us about her future hubby. “Once I really realized that, I knew he was the one.”
“We time” is key for the happy couple who have been together for over eight years. Some of the things they love to do as a pair include “cooking dinner, watching movies and listening to music.” Keith goes on to add that, “Anything where I can enjoy her company is my favorite thing to do.”
What made Keith fall in love with Jeronica? “Her intangibles,” he says. “There was just something about her.”
Jeronica and Keith’s long-standing relationship proves there’s no expiration date on their love. “We dated for quite awhile,” shares Jeronica. “I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way because it was perfect timing for us!”
Family and friends matter most to the soon-to-be newlyweds, so it’s great that everyone approves of their love. “I adore his mother,” says Jeronica. “My parents love him. Sometimes I think they prefer him over me!”
“The style of our wedding will be vintage and modern, with a hint of glam,” say Jeronica. “My future hubby is from Ghana, so we may have a second ceremony to honor his traditions.”
“He’s the best man for me because he understands and accepts me just as I am,” Jeronica dished. “He always reminds me of the important things in life, and I can’t wait for the day I marry the love of my life.” She and Keith will make it official this September in Philadelphia.
