“God made him just for me,” says Danielle. “He understands me; he’s fragile with my heart. He loves me unconditionally. Ashley thinks about me before himself, and he always does what he says he will do. He loves me for me.”
When asked if he knew if she was ‘The One’ right away, Ashley responded, “Yes I did from day one. I really prayed for someone like Danielle, and the Lord answered my prayer.”
“I love that my future husband is a gentleman first, loving, considerate, hardworking, patient and a man of God,” says Danielle affectionately when asked what she loves most about her husband-to-be.
The couple’s French New Orlean’s themed engagement shoot was lovely and fitting since their love story began at the 2012 Essence Festival. (We just love when that happens!)
Ashley couldnt help but to fall in love with Danielle because “she was supportive of my job and she loved to be around family. I loved everything about her.”
After dating for four months, Ashley got approval from Danielle’s family and friends. “My parents say he is the best man that has ever come into my life, and that he treats me like a queen,” says Danielle. “They love him like their son. And, my friends say he is a very good man and they are so happy we found each other.”
“I think he chose to marry me because I have all the qualities he was looking for in a wife,” says the bride-to-be. “I’m family oriented, intelligent, hardworking, devoted, supportive and loyal.”
Danielle’s leading man in three words? “Amazing, loving and considerate,” she shares
“Danielle puts God first,” says Ashley. “She loves family and is very supportive. Support is very imprtant to me.”
“I look forward to continuing to grow together as one, traveling, exploring new adventures and starting our family,” says Danielle

Ashley is looking forward to starting a new journey and family together with Danielle. “I just cant wait to enjoy life with my wife,” he adds.
“When we’re (finally!) husband and wife, I cant wait to start a family,” gushes Danielle.
Second to his heart, Danielle shares that the sexiest part of Ashley’s body is his lips. (Aww, these two are too cute!)
“If you’re spying us on a Friday night, you’ll probably catch us out eating at a fancy restaurant, sipping on a glass of wine or at home watching the sports channel eating takeout,” shares the bride-to-be.
The couple will tie the knot on November 30, 2013 in Jackson, Mississippi with a French New Orleans themed ceremony. Their wedding colors are blush pink, champagne, ivory and gold.
The couple plans to honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The three things that wont be missing from thier suitcase are evening wear, beach attire, and lingerie.
