When Crystal and Omar first met in college, he says it was their instant connection that really took their relationship to the next level. “I love our chemistry,” he says. “I’m so attracted to her physically and mentally, and most of all, I love her drive to be better individually and to make this family better than what we are.”
Every moment in Omar and Crystal’s relationship has been a precious one. “I don’t think there was just one moment where I knew he was the one for me,” says Crystal. “Omar was very charming and thoughtful and I just fell in love with him a little every day until I knew this was a guy I didn’t want to have to imagine a future without.”
Crystal describes her leading man as generous, fun and sexy. But what’s the sexiest part of Omar following his heart? “His smile,” she says. “It’s even sexier when I know I’m the reason he’s smiling.”
Crystal was the first of the two to say I love you and Omar couldn’t agree with her more. “I did it through text, she shares. “That way I couldn’t see his face if he didn’t say it back.”
Crystal’s family and friends hit it off with Omar famously and they just can’t get enough of him. “My whole family adores him,” she says. “They always want him around!”
Omar is perfect for Crystal because of his unconditional love for her. She says he’s her number one confidant. “In him I found someone I can talk to about just about anything and trust that he will be completely honest with me,” she spills. “He loves me flaws and all.”
Omar was quite the picker when it came to Crystal’s engagement ring. He knew exactly what she’d like. “He picked the ring all by himself and did a great job! I loved it,” shares Crystal.
These sweethearts do just about everything together. “Anytime we’re with each other, we enjoy it,” dishes Crystal. “We are so silly and he’s so spontaneous.”
“I think he chose to marry me because he found someone who loves him unconditionally,” says Crystal. “We have each other’s back no matter what.”
Who would Crystal cast to play her future husband in a movie? None other than himself! “Omar is a true-life character,” says the bride-to-be.
Crystal says the best gift Omar has ever gotten her is a beautiful, princess cut engagement ring. Aww!
One thing Crystal can’t wait to do is introduce herself as Mrs. Gibson.
“When we’re finally married, I can’t wait to build a future and spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” says Crystal.
