Miami couple, Carlisha 25, and Joshua, 28, were made for each other. They first crossed paths at a social event. They swapped Words With Friends usernames so they could play a game or two. Joshua admired Carlisha’s passion for sports, and she was intrigued by his “deep” philosophies. They were on a real date before they knew what happened, and a year and a half later he was popping the question on a romantic cruise. Their big day is next week. Share their love!
When it came time to shoot the vintage portion of their themed engagement session, Carlisha and Joshua didn’t skip a single detail. We just adore her high hair, pretty pearls and that train station backdrop.
“I am most looking forward to building a life filled with wonderful memories with Joshua,” Carlisha shares.
Carlisha and Joshua’s wedding day is only a week away.
“My engagement ring is the best gift he ever got me,” says Carlisha. “Not because of the bling, but because of what it stands for.”
“I knew Joshua was the one when one night he had to be at work at 5:45 in the morning, and he came to my house at 1 a.m. to settle a disagreement we were having,” says Carlisha. “His commitment to our relationship was the first sign to me that he was meant for me. Over the course of our relationship, he has proved over and over how committed he is to us.”
Next up: the 70s! Carlisha, we love, love, love that hair.
Joshua has done many sweet things for his love Carlisha, but one of the gestures she most remembers was the time when he cooked her a five-course meal for Valentine’s Day.
“We were really comfortable with each other from the very start,” Carlisha confessed.
For fun, Carlisha and Joshua like to discover local restaurants together and rate them.

“Our theme is timeless love, and it’s a mix of traditional and modern flare,” says Carlisha when describing their upcoming wedding. They enlisted the help of Virtuous Creations to help them pull it all off without a hitch.
Carlisha tells us that her husband-to-be is a very kind and patient man. “He’s perfect for me,” she gushes.
When we see photogenic duo Carlisha and Joshua together, we truly see the love radiating from their photographs. They really are a picture-perfect couple.
“I love her fiery spirit,” says Joshua. “She has no quit in her and will fight until the end. She’s my perfect match.”
Carlisha and Joshua plan to honeymoon in Paris, where they’ll focus on indulging in all the romance they can handle.
