Professional cheerleader Brandy, 28, met automobile assembler, Jarron, 26, at a local jazz club when she thought love was the last thing she needed. Boy, was she wrong! “He is the best man for me because he accepts me for who I am, without judgment. Since the day I met him, I’ve always been extremely open with him about everything,” she shared.
“I sure did play hard to get,” Brandy admits. “I wasn’t interested in anyone, so I blew him off for three months.”
“Kudos to his persistence, because I know on several occasions, I would’ve given up on myself,” Brandy confessed. “I’m a Taurus, and I live up to every characteristic of my sign, especially being stubborn.”
“My favorite thing to do with Brandy is date nights with just the two of us. We have so much fun together, if it’s a night on the town or dinner and a movie, our quality time is the best,” Jarron spills.
The soon-to-be-weds dated for a little over a year before they decided it was time to plan to spend the rest of their lives together.
“The things I love most about Brandy are that she makes me laugh, she’s very independent and she understands that God must be the head of our relationship,” Jarron shares.
“The best gift he ever got me was a Tiffany & Co. set for our first Christmas together. It was so unexpected and I love it so much,” says Brandy. “Christmas is such a significant holiday in our relationship, so every time I wear it, it reminds me of how blessed that I am to have him as my future husband.”
“What I am most looking forward to about marriage is the opportunity to grow and build a life with someone that I can completely trust and will always walk beside me to face any obstacle that stands before us. I’d honestly given up on love and never thought I would even get married; so to be referred to as a bride still seems so surreal,” Brandy gushes.
“No matter what, he is always there for me with a listening ear and an open heart,” says Brandy.
Three things that the lovely couple will definitely bring with them on their honeymoon: swimwear, lingerie and post-wedding surprise gifts.
“I was initially skeptical of his selection of rings when we would randomly look at them together; but was totally blown away when he proposed with my beauty,” Brandy shares.
“He said ‘I love you’ first, which was a shocker, because I’m usually overly emotional,” says Brandy.”He never ceases to amaze me.” She and Jarron will make it offical this July in Kansas City, Missouri.
