Another handsome fella from the Insecure cast just became a proud papa.
Following behind Sarunas Jackson, who welcomed a daughter with fellow Insecure actress Dominique Perry, is Jay Ellis. The actor, who plays Lawrence on the show, just welcomed a daughter of his own with his longtime model girlfriend Nina Senicar.
The announcement was made official on Instagram, with both parents posting a glimpse of their precious newborn.
Senicar gushed about becoming a mother. In the picture also shared on her IG page, she writes, “And just like that our lives got a whole new meaning. Welcome, Nora Grace Ellis ♥️ 8.11.2019.”
Ellis and Senicar have kept their relationship generally low key, but have reportedly been dating since 2015. “I am in a relationship. I’m in a very happy relationship, and that’s where I leave it,” Ellis told the hosts of The Breakfast Club back in 2017. “I don’t really worry about anything else, and that’s it. I think for me, we give so much of ourselves in what we do no matter what side of the industry we’re on, so for me… a relationship for me is probably the most important thing that I think two people can have.”
The two have appeared on a few red carpets together, and Senicar had been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram.
Under a gorgeous black and white maternity photo, she wrote, “Eight months of love, tenderness, femininity, happiness, panic, fear, tears, smiles, uncertainty, excitement… Eight months with her.”
In a Serbian publication called Story, Senicar revealed that she and Ellis were engaged. As of now, it’s unconfirmed whether or not they have gotten married.
