Faith Evans and Steven Jordan (aka Stevie J) are in it for the long haul. The singer and her producer/reality star got hitched exactly one year ago in Las Vegas to the surprise of fans and family. The couple had known each other and become friends in the music industry before becoming romantically involved. Today, Evans and Jordan just made one year married and celebrated the milestone on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Evans posted a photo of her shirtless bae, thanking him for wearing so many supportive hats in the relationship. “Happy anniversary to my best friend, my love, my prayer partner, comedy buddy, recipe taster, handy-man, baseball coach, jack-of-all-trades AMAZING husband!,” she writes. “I love you so much & I thank God for you every day!”
She also posted a fun video collage of their favorite moments over the last 365 days.
Stevie returned the love with a dedication to his Mrs with a sweet post of his own. “Mrs Faith Renee Jordan – You’ve given me new eyes, a new perspective about love & I couldn’t imagine life without you, this is forever. I love you.”
The couple recently joined us at the 2019 Essence Festival where Evans performed at the AT&T stage. While in town, the couple was asked by TMZ about alleged breakup rumors sparked by them briefly unfollowing each other. The couple swiftly disproved the rumors. “You can’t believe everything that you hear.”
This past February, the couple told ESSENCE exclusively that they make be looking to add more kiddos to the bunch. “We’re working on finishing up our EP, doing a few TV projects, producing a few TV projects,” Evans said, “and if [Stevie] had his way working on an addition to our family.”
