Los Angeles-based sports trainer Brett Sterling, 28, had us at hello. Meet our crush of the week. (You’re gonna love him!)
“A woman’s sexiest qualities are her intellect and personality,” says Sterling. “Those qualities don’t wrinkle with age. It’s beyond sexy to meet a smart and witty woman.”
“A woman can impress me by starting a conversation about a subject matter that’s totally out of her field, but completely in mine,” says Sterling. “She can also impress me by teaching me something new.”
Excuse us while we catch our breath. Well, hello there, gorgeous!
Okay, we admit it. We’re attracted to Sterling’s mind and body. “Some might deem me a perfect catch because I’m well-rounded with a genuine interest in just about everything,” he says. “I enjoy life. I understand the fact that I won’t be here forever, so I love listening and talking about any and everything.”
If you’re looking for the truth, Sterling can help you there. “I am honest; even when it hurts,” he admits. We can respect that.
“I’m contributing to the exploitation of the idea that being certain about the uncertain is disrespectful to the mystery of life,” says Sterling. “I think people should embrace that mystery and don’t marginalize it.”
We’ll have a cup of joe too, Brett. (As long as you’re serving ’em up, of course!)

“I love doing anything outdoors,” says Sterling. “I enjoy Scuba diving, shooting, hunting, fishing and camping. I’m a firm believer that the best things in life are free.”
Sterling currently resides in Harbor City, California. “I love the diversity of the population, and that the beach is literally in every direction,” he says.
“I liked the idea that I was never treated like a child growing up,” says Sterling. “My opinion always counted. I was allowed to think and decipher reality from bull on my own. While other kids were watching cartoons, I was hunting, fishing and practicing survival skills. I also took trips to practically every museum and natural park our country has to offer.”
“The relationship I have with my parents is truly a blessing,” says Sterling. “They treat me like I’m their special creation. I truly feel they understand the gravity of creating life and its finiteness. They have provided me the best opportunities to succeed. Words can’t express the gratitude and love I have for the two people who created me out of love.”
It’s raining abs and we don’t need an umbrella for this storm. Sterling’s physique would clearly stop any woman in her tracks.
“My sports training career began when I walked into a local LA Fitness gym and the club manager hired me on the spot,” says Sterling. “As time passed, I got multiple nationally accredited certifications and became the most sought after trainer in the gym.”
“I love what I do for a living because I love watching people accomplish fitness goals they seriously doubted they could,” says Sterling. “And when they do, the feeling is priceless.”
