Arizona Cardinals strong safety Adrian Wilson, who’s newly single and dating, says he’s 100 percent confident in who he is. “As far as maturity is concerned, it took me 31 years to get to where I am and to wear I’m comfortable with my happiness and who I am as man and a person,” says Adrian. “It feel like a weight’s been lifted because a lot of people can’t say that.”

Southern born and raised, Adrian grew up in North Carolina before attending NC State and being drafted to the Arizona Cardinals in 2001.

Adrian majored in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management at N.C. State and says when he has free time he usually spends it doing things atypical of what the usual athlete might do; things like traveling and exploring new places.

Adrian is nothing to mess with on the field. In 2010 he earned a fourth trip to the Pro Bowl and registered a career high 118 tackles.
When you’re dating, Adrian says, it’s important to put a woman first. “You have to make sure that a woman is very comfortable and you’re doing everything you can do to make her comfortable.”
Adrian opened a sneaker store called High Point, named after his North Carolina hometown, in Scottsdale Arizona. “I always wanted to own my own business,” says Adrian. “Were the only store like that in Arizona so the business really grew. It’s really blowing up.”
“A perfect date would be just being yourselves,” says Adrian. “I think when two people get together and they’re just being themselves and they’re not trying to do too much that’s special – almost priceless.”

“I’m a fun easy going kind of guy,” says Adrian. “I don’t take myself too seriously at all. I am who I am. I’m a real person. I’m not going to not tell you when something’s wrong.”
Adrian is a proud father of three. "We like to go to Disney Land. I try to get them outside of Arizona and outside of all this hit. So I like to take them to try different things. I just want them to grow up and be able to say they experienced a lot of different things.
