Today, the singer has finally let the world see a glimpse of her beautiful growing bump in an Avante Garde photo.
The soon-to-be mommy did a glorious maternity shoot by the ocean and recently dropped the first photo. Sitting cross-legged with the ocean waves at her back, Cassie wore a simple bikini bottom with her long black tendrils draped over her chest. Fine showered his special lady with some birthday love on the ‘gram, writing: “Happy bday to the best baby momma, dog mama, hot momma ever.”
Prior to sharing her maternity photo, Cassie has been sharing some introspective thoughts on motherhood. “I often sit and think about what her laugh will be like and how all I want to do is protect her,” she recently shared in a series of posts. “I’m so happy that she picked me.”
Cassie also revealed that this year is her most transformative one yet – not just because she’s about to be a mother, but also because of her decision to take charge of her life. “This year for me was about balance and taking my power back where I had given it away too freely,” she shared under a black and white photo of herself. “I tend to want to please everyone and I’m hard on myself when I fail at it, so the power of saying ‘no’ and owning it was a life-changer. The power of letting go of things not meant for me or things that weren’t deserving of my heart and time were as well.”
