Cassie, 32, and her new boyfriend Alex Fine, 26, are about to embark on a new journey together as parents, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Today, the singer/model announced to her Instagram followers that she and Fine expecting a baby girl. “Can’t wait to meet our baby girl,” the 32-year-old captioned a series of photos, which showed the couple in the car together. “Love You Always & Forever.”
Fine, a celebrity trainer to athletes like Odell Beckham Jr., Reggie Bush and Marshawn Lynch, celebrated the news on his own Instagram page with “Letter to my Daughter” which reads,”I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever,” he wrote on Instagram. “I never thought my heart could grow bigger after meeting your mother… then I found out we were having you and I instantly felt a love that is so indescribable.”
He also dedicated a post to the mother of his child, writing, “I promise you that I will do every single thing in my power to support you and help you. I promise that you will never be alone. I promise that you will be loved beyond expectation and we will show our children how to be in a healthy relationship.”
Four months after her split with music mogul Diddy, Cassie made it Instagram official with Fine, whom Diddy reportedly hired to train Cassie prior to their split. Diddy seemingly approved the new relationship by liking the photos. Reps for Diddy say “the decision [to split] was amicable and they remain friends.”
