Congratulations are in order for Cassie and her fiancé Alex Fine. The sweet couple, who are expecting their first child, just got engaged and the proposal had so much heart & soul.
The mother-to-be posted a beautifully produced video on her IGTV which played the classic song “Forever Mine” by The O’Jays in the background. The video opens with a shirtless Fine on the Compton Cowboys ranch in Southern California. He’s tending to the horses and putting up a wooden sign at the entrance of the premises that reads “Mrs. Fine.” Then, Fine gets dressed in his cowboy’s best and prepares for his lady’s arrival.
Cassie is then escorted inside the ranch with a bouquet of flowers in hand. Fine gets off his horse, pulls out a ring box and proceeds to get down on one knee. The stunned singer gets emotional before saying, “yes” to this oh so thoughtful proposal. “My favorite day ever!,” Cassie captions the video, along with the hashtag #MrsFine.
Fine posted a few snapshots from this amazing day on his Instagram page, writing, “This moment will always be so special to me. I get to marry my best friend in the whole world. How am I so lucky!”
The celebrity trainer also thanked his friends for helping him pull of the proposal, including boxer Shane Mosley.
Cassie and Fine went public with their relationship in December 2018 and confirmed that they are expecting a daughter in June 2019. Just yesterday, Cassie debuted her baby bump for the first time while reflecting on what motherhood means to her. “I often sit and think about what her laugh will be like and how all I want to do is protect her,” she recently shared in a series of posts. “I’m so happy that she picked me.”
