Anthony Criss, better known as Treach from the popular rap group Naughty By Nature, and his wife had been riding together and expanded their family for fourteen years before getting hitched. When they did, it was a celebration that made all of Jersey proud.
Cicely admits that she didn’t see a proposal coming at the time. Treach popped the question while on the road with New Kids On The Block. During a meet and greet, the group was giving out memorabilia. Cicely was backstage thinking the moment was all about the fans. Little did she know, her gift was in tow. “He pulled out this box and got down on one knee. He had NEXT there singing. I was blown away.”
The moment was so sweet and surprising, Cicely was stunned for days. “People asked me, ‘why didn’t you cry?’ I was in shock, even after we flew back home.” She was even more stunned when Treach said he wanted their wedding that same year. “We were already together for 14 years,” Treach said. “I didn’t want to wait anymore!”
As the saying goes, where there’s a will, there’s a way. Cicely delivered and planned the couple’s dream wedding in just four months, securing custom suits for the groom and their son, getting her wedding dress flown in from Italy days before the wedding, and never breaking a sweat about it. It was a whole vibe, and a wedding their guests couldn’t stop talking about. “We had Biz Markie and DJ Cool V on the sound,” says Treach. “It was like a hip hop Mardi Gras. Everyone said they haven’t seen anything like it.”

Every Little Detail
Teach salutes his wife with planning the entire wedding, from the invitations and RSVPs to the ceremony and reception. "I just played my position. She was the coach and the quarterback."
Like Father, Like Son
The bride was extremely impressed with Treach and their son's matching tuxedos, which were made by Suga J of Members Club Clothing. "He did an amazing job with them," she says.
On The Way To Forever
Cicely looked absolutely stunning coming down the aisle.
We've Only Just Begun
The couple once appeared on Couple's Therapy, where they sought help for trust issues. Today, they're proud of how far their relationship has come. "We have a better understanding of each other," says Treach of their growth. "We've matured to the point where the little stuff doesn't matter. That's my road dog."
The couple exchanged vows in front of 300 guests.
You May Now Kiss The Bride
The couple makes it official with a big smooch. Awwww!
Traditionally, the color white is reserved for the bride. But who needs tradition, anyway? "We just wanted something different that looked so fresh and so clean," Cicely says. "My cousin who is a stylist suggested it. When we started pulling looks, I loved it."
Guests arrived on the red carpet, decked out with a flower wall inscribed with the couple's names.
There was no shortage of drinks at this party.
The couple's wedding guests Queen Latifah and Jermaine Hopkins shared plenty of laughs that night.
It's All Love
Treach's ex-wife Pepa (from the group Salt n Pepa) came out to celebrate their wedding. Over the years, the divorced couple has put their differences aside, and Pepa has developed a friendship with Treach and Cicely. "it's all about one family, one team, one tribe," Treach says.
A Family Affair
Ice T, his wife Coco and their daughter Nicole came by to show the couple love.
Hands down, the couple's fondest memory of their wedding day was their chandelier cake, which looked just as good as it tasted. So good, in fact, guests were calling them the next day asking for leftovers!
The Brazilian style cake was made by pastry chef Lilian Tsikitas and featured different flavors in every tier - we're talking caramel vanilla, red velvet and coconut cream. Treach says it was so good, "we should have sold it on eBay."
Looking good, fellas!
She's Your Queen To Be!
