17 Times Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir Were The Perfect Pair

Success isn’t as sweet if you don’t have someone to share it with. Lucky for Gucci Mane, he gets to enjoy life with the one he loves – his wife and ride or die, Keyshia Ka’oir.

The rapper first noticed his future wifey in a magazine while he was incarcerated. Immediately upon release from prison, he called his manager to book her for his “911 Emergency” video. Eventually, life began imitating art when the couple started dating. Despite some bumps in the road, including Gucci’s brief stint in prison from 2014 to 2016, the couple has remained solid.

Who’s That Girl?

Gucci was first intrigued by Keyshia when he saw her pictures in XXL back in 2010 while incarcerated. Upon his release, Gucci went on a hunt to find his future wifey. “He called [his manager] Amina from jail, and he was like, ‘Who is Keyshia Ka’oir?’ I want to meet this girl,’” Ka’oir told The Fader.

Unbreakable Bond

The couple was separated from 2014 to 2016 when Gucci was sent to prison. Although it was tough maintaining a relationship from his cell, Gucci and Keyshia vowed to stick by one another.

Becoming Mr. And Mrs. Davis

On October 17, 2017, the couple wed in an ultra-lavish televised wedding. The special aired on BET called ‘The Mane Event’ documented their entire journey down the aisle.

Love Of His Life

In his autobiography, Gucci Mane recalls being smitten by his wife. “Keyshia was stunning but it was more than that,” he writes. “I’d been with a lot of pretty girls. There was more to her. I may have ﬁrst fell for her beauty, ogling her pictures while I was sitting in the clink, but I quickly began to appreciate her as a person.”
