Katrina and Reggie met at a 70’s-themed party where he was spinning tunes. She was in the market for a great deejay so she asked for his card. Their conversation quickly moved from business to pleasure.
Katrina and Reggie never felt nervous around each other. “I thought it was funny, on our first date, when he was already comfortable enough with me to start eating off my plate,” says Katrina. “It was the beginning of our love language. Ever since, I always leave something on my plate for him to finish for me.”
“Holidays are very important to me,” says Katrina. “Our first Christmas was wonderful. Reggie let me do whatever I wanted. I decorated his house with lights, and trees, and whatever else I could find, ruining his bachelor pad.”
“I knew he was “the one” after we hugged for the first time," says Katrina. “I felt totally safe and at home in his arms.”
For the first stop on their engagement shoot, Reggie and Katrina returned to the corner of Fifth and Peachtree Street in Atlanta because it had sentimental value — it’s the exact spot where he proposed.
“I knew Trina was the one for me the moment I saw her,” Reggie tells us. "We met and I loved her “Jersey Girl” sass, and she even told me she loved to cook. I was done."
The happy couple says they have loads of little things in common: Their shared love for music, food, sweet treats, and cuddling, to name a few.
“We are both close to our families and very happy to have strong family support for our love and our impending marriage,” says a very happy Katrina.
“I love Katrina’s caring and nurturing nature, her devotion, sophistication, and class,” says Reggie.
Katrina’s equally smitten with her man. “I love Reggie’s devotion to our relationship, his calm demeanor, and that fact that he’s just an all-around fabulous guy.”
