Alia, 32, a HRIS consultant, and Aaron, 34, a sales manager, were coerced into a meeting by college friends who had a hunch they’d be a “perfect match.” They fell in love over the phone, met for the first time six months later, and are now headed to the altar following five happy years together.
“Alia is a highly intelligent, compassionate and loving woman,” Aaron tells us.
“He is a hard-worker and always provides,” says Alia. “Plus, Aaron is great with children; I know he will be a wonderful father and husband.”
Alia tells us that he can smile knowing she has picked a life partner with invaluable qualities and true devotion. “Aaron has strong family values and loves God,” she says.
“Alia has a great sense of humor and the ability to always make me laugh,” Aaron brags.
“She is a fabulous cook and takes pride in our home,” Aaron tells us about his beautiful wife to be.
We don’t have to wonder how much love exists between Alia and Aaron; it shines through their gorgeous photos.
When Aaron proposed to Alia during halftime while they were at home watching a football game, she couldn’t wait to share the news. “I sent a picture of myself with the engagement ring within clear view,” says Alia.
“Knowing that in less than a year I will be married and enjoying the next part of our life’s journey together is so exciting,” says Alia.
“The wedding planning has been more difficult than I could have ever imagined,” Alia shares. “I always envisioned I would have a destination wedding somewhere in the Caribbean. Instead, I am having a destination wedding in my hometown, Chicago. The process has been trying at times because I often have to travel to the Midwest to take care of wedding business.” You can do it, Alia. Hang in there, because it will all be worth it.
