Oren is the creator of popular men’s lifestyle blog UnbiasedWriter.com.
“The reason I started my blog is because when I graduated from USC I was working with Ford modeling and they placed me in New York," explains Oren. "My parents were on top of me about getting a ‘real job’. I started my blog because I figured if I was going to continue to model I needed to do something where I could make money while I’m traveling and pretty much be anywhere.”
So what’s Oren’s secret to a perfectly chiseled body? It’s less abut the gym and more about staying active.
“I love to swim,” the beach bum admits. “I played volleyball in college, and growing up, my entire life I played basketball. It wasn’t until I got to high school and started getting recruited by schools for volleyball that I started to switch. I come from a really big basketball family. My mom played in college and my dad played in college and in the league. Basketball has always been the biggest thing in my life.”
We asked Oren who was the first woman to ever steal his heart and he says she totally snuck up on him. “My first love was a girl I dated in college,” recalls Oren. “She also played volleyball at USC. It just happened out of nowhere. Before that I’d never really been in love. It was a pretty crazy relationship, and I learned a lot from it.”
“I’d start off with dinner and from there a movie, or probably the beach,” Oren says when describing the perfect date. “I love going to the beach and just walking and chillin’. It’s my favorite thing about Los Angeles. It would give us time to just walk and talk and get to know each other better and bond.” Pick us up at 8, Oren?
If you want to be with Oren, you’ll need to be as down-to-earth as he is. “The most important thing in a relationship is someone I can vibe with,” says Oren, about what it takes for a woman to become Mrs. Wilkes. “I want her to by my friend and be loyal. I want to be able to see us spending a long time together. Plus, she has to have my back. That way we can work and build together.”
