Attention all di feters and soca junkies in ah di building, this is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill – Rihanna will be at carnival this year in Barbados!
The Bajan bad gal took to her Instagram stories to announce that she will be heading back to her homeland of Barbados to join the rest of the carnival massive in taking a lime and a wine in celebration of Crop Over, an annual event that honors the end of the sugar cane season – a 200-year-old tradition. Rihanna also announced that she’ll be mashing it up at one of the island’s newest fetes, Lost in Paradise.
If you’re like us, you’re dying to see what RiRi will be wearing (or barely wearing) for Barbados’ famed Grand Kadooment Day (August 5). Well, the singer also told fellow carnival jumpers that she’ll be playing mas with Aura Experience again this year, so you know her costume is going to shut the internet down!
