There’s nothing quite like Her. Mama Africa is one of a kind, and with 54 vibrant nations to explore, the wonders within her borders never cease to amaze us. Rolling plains, majestic mountains, endless blue waters, awe-inspiring nature, strong people and a proud history are just a few of the reasons why we continue to journey to the continent.
If you’re like us, a trip to the Motherland is always on your radar and no matter how many times you’ve been, you’re always longing to return. That’s why when we saw that singer, chef, and unapologetic badass, Kelis, was on an African adventure, we couldn’t help but follow along her journey and be inspired.
Kelis is on a pretty impressive tour that has taken her on a safari in Kenya, where she’s been exploring the Masai Mara with warriors, to Cottar’s 1920s camp to enjoy the eco luxe life, and to various culinary sites that we’re sure has her thinking up delicious new dishes to remix and bring back home.
But if you thought her travels were over, the ‘Tasty’ singer is now in Tanzania enjoying the endless blues of Zanzibar, indulging in some much-needed self-care with soft sand between her toes.
Kelis’ adventure has us ready to #TravelAfrica asap. Thank goodness there are only a few more months until we return to Ghana for Afrochella, maybe we’ll see you there!
