Stay in Santorini Forever
Santorini is full of hotels boasting gorgeous views of the caldera with a hefty price tag in tow. Save a few coins by using Airbnb to secure a villa or by giving boutique accommodations like the Seaside Hotel a try. Rooms at the Seaside can be as low as $86 a night.

Take a Dip
After you’ve spent time watching the sunset from Oia, riding ATVs through the villages and drinking vino at Santo Winery, book a catamaran day cruise to snorkel, tan and take in picturesque views of the island from the sea.

Gone with the Wind
By now you’ve seen them all over social media, photos of women wearing what’s known as the “Santorini Dress” on the island. Rental packages for one of these colorful frocks and the accompanying photographer, typically start at around 400 Euros, but if you’re visiting Santorini with your squad, save money by splitting the cost to rent one dress and scouting locations where you can take your own photos. But here’s a word of caution. Those rooftop photos you also see all over social media are actually not prohibited. Many travelers choose to ignore the many well-placed signs Santorini locals have put up asking that visitors do not stand on the roofs of their homes and churches for photos. So despite what a tour company or restaurant waiter might tell you, be a better global citizen and find a more respectful way to do it for the ‘gram.
