If you’ve never been to London, just know that it is pure vibes.

Not only is England’s capital a hub for some of the best restaurants that Europe has to offer, nightclubs where you can party the night away, and diversity that rivals many U.S. cities, the hotels are just as luxurious as they are spectacularly designed and with a story to tell. So much so, that it can be hard to choose quite where to stay when making your voyage.

We’ve gone ahead and made life easier by curating a list of stunning boutique hotels in London that get a right royal thumbs up from us.

01
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
The moment you walk through the doors of the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, the first thing you’ll likely say is “wow.” In the luxury London hotel market, there’s luxury and then there’s the Mandarin Oriental luxury. Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, this 186-room historic hotel is most definitely in a class of its own — a class act that lives up to its favorable reputation — style, sophistication and more importantly, decadence. Featuring two Michelin star restaurants and a stunning spa, the five-pearl property balances stylish modern and British traditional decor with ease. Rooms are turned out in elegant furnishings, with flat-screen TVs, well-stocked minibars, and marble bathrooms. Notable amenities also include a fabulous spa with a pool, restaurants from boldface-name chefs, and a 24-hour gym.

Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square
You can never go wrong at the Four Seasons — and the Ten Trinity Square location is no different. Offering 100 luxury rooms and suites, each blending chic modern design with original architectural details, the landmark building provides a central city location, near the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the River Thames. The hotel also features two-Michelin-starred La Dame de Pic London, the first UK restaurant by Anne-Sophie Pic, the most decorated female Michelin star chef in the world and Asian Restaurant, Mei Ume. From these extraordinary new culinary experiences and innovative cocktail menus to results-driven spa treatments, guests are invited to embrace everything that the City of London has to offer.

The Londoner
Self-styled as the world’s first super boutique hotel, The Londoner opened in September 2021 as one of the “it” hotels that are certainly worth a visit. Located on the south-west corner of Leicester Square, only a couple of minutes away from both Leicester Square or Piccadilly Tube, it’s safe to say — the hotel’s location is about as good as it gets. Each room offers a different view, but you’ll want to choose a city view room if waking up to the London skyline is something you prefer. Though the rooms are on the smaller side, the Londoner also has some great room amenities that set this hotel apart from its competitors. The luxurious bath amenities, oversized spa and full sized wardrobe to unpack are just a few. The Londoner’s restaurants and bars reflect the city’s eclectic dining scene — elegant Japanese cuisine features alongside a contemporary take on the French Mediterranean.
