In the words of Soca king Machel Montano…we come here to get on bad! Those words are the motto of every person visiting Barbados for the island’s annual Crop Over celebration – and they mean it. Even Bajan princess Rihanna is a self-proclaimed bad gal and has no problem showing it.

From sunup to sundown, feters swarm the island with one mission and one mission only: to be on their most wotless behavior. Whether it’s getting covered in paint in the bush for J’ouvert or taking a wine on the road in elaborate costumes for Grand Kadooment Day, Soca junkies in Barbados know how to get on bad.
