Rome. Milan. Florence. These are just a few of the Italian cities that come to mind when first timers begin planning their summer getaway. As great as these destinations are, there’s only one destination that should be at the top of your list – the Amalfi Coast.
The Amalfi Coast is pure vibes. From the shopping and celebrity sightings to the late night parties, amazing food, and IG worthy views, it’s easy to get drawn into the area’s charm and beauty.
Model and influencer Megan Milan (@megan.milan) set her sights on the postcard-like backdrop of Amalfi on a recent jaunt to the coastal town and the results were stunning photos that captured a trip that many of us dream about. Check out a few snapshots below from Megan’s Italian escape to learn more about how you too can live the sweet life in Italy.
Welcome to the Amalfi Coast
Located along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea, the Amalfi Coast is a picturesque stretch of coastline recognized by its colorful lemon grove filled cliffside, grand villas and beautiful beaches. The village of Positano is a well-known escape for regular and celebrity travelers alike, who can’t help but be seduced by the areas charming cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and amazing cuisine. The best time to plan a trip to the coast is between April and October, but if you want to avoid the crowds, skip July and August when accommodations and visitors are at an unbearable high.
When it comes to accommodations, there is no other property more quintessential than the luxurious Le Sirenuse. From the charming decor to the draw dropping views, fine dining and more, there is no better place to be on the Amalfi Coast than at this classic Italian hotel. Who knows, you might even run into a few of your favorite celebrities during your stay.

Traditional Neapolitan pizza, cacio e pepe, and gelato are just a few of the delicious dishes that visitors to Italy have on their foodie bucket list. If you’re headed to the Amalfi Coast, be sure to stop by the famous Aumm Aumm Restaurant in Anacapri where you can dine on more than 30 types of pizza and slurp-worthy pasta.
La Dolce Vita
Unlike other popular destinations in Italy, the Amalfi Coast is not filled with hundreds of ancient temples and sites for tourists to explore, but one thing it does have is a sense of peace and relaxation. Locals, like most Italians in general, take the saying “La Dolce Vita” aka The Sweet Life, to heart, and use every opportunity they can to indulge in the things that bring them joy. During your visit, don’t miss out on the chance to go for a sail along the coast to take in some of that sweetness for yourself.
