Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

In just a few weeks we’ll be in a new year and a new decade. If you’re like the rest of us, chances are that you’re already planning on how you can be a better version of your awesome self in 2020.

However, despite all the newness, old habits can be hard to break and sometimes it takes a little bit more than simply declaring ‘new year, new me’ all over social media to actually enact change. No matter whether you’re looking to work out more or be on IG less, getting help to create better habits doesn’t have to feel like an overwhelming task. One way to get started on the path to a better you is with apps. Since most of us are connected to our phones anyway, why not use its technological power for good and download something that will keep us focused on our goals.

Like any good accountability partner, we scoured the internet in search of the best apps to help us all create better habits as we enter the new year. Check out three of our faves and join us on our mission to start 2020 on top.

01
HabitShare
The hardest part of building new habits is often the fact that we don’t have a partner to share in the journey. HabitShare connects you with your friends so you can track your habits together and motivate one another every step of the way because that’s what friends are for.

Streaks
If you have multiple habits that you need to get a handle on, then the Streaks app is for you. Whether you need to remember to drink water, eat more veggies, work out or stop smoking, this app helps you manage it all.

Habitica
What’s better than creating better habits? Creating better habits while you indulge in your gamer side, of course. The Habitica app splits your activity into four categories: To-Dos, Habits, Dailies, and Rewards, with each one coming with benefits and punishments for your in-app game character. It makes the task of doing better a little bit more fun.
