Congratulations are in order for Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and hubby Clifford “T.I.” Joseph Harris, Jr.
The couple welcomed their fourth child together, a beautiful baby girl, yesterday, March 26th, at 2:58 PM.
The baby—who weighed in at 5lbs—came several weeks earlier than the Harris family expected.
“In true Harris fashion, our baby girl made us all HUSTLE, making a surprise early entrance,” Tiny said in a statement to ESSENCE. “While we expected her to arrive around April 20th, our PERFECT baby girl decided March 26th was the right time for her DEBUT.”
Tiny adds that T.I. flew in to Atlanta from a show in Las Vegas in time to meet his new baby. “Our whole clan was together to see our beautiful healthy baby girl make her way into the world. Just the way I like it!!” she said.
Tiny and T.I’s blended family includes four sons and two daughters. Their newborn makes seven. “We are looking forward to more exciting times with our #Lucky7,” she said. As for a name, Tiny told ESSENCE she had given up the naming duties to T.I.
“I came up with a unisex name that I thought would be dope, but I’m gonna let him have this one,” she said. “Whatever we decide, it will go along with the other kids’ names that we have, Major and King.”
Tiny’s last pregnancy in 2007 ended tragically when her daughter Leyah Amore Harris was stillborn.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss paid her former Xscape bandmember a visit at the hospital.
