Sandra adopted her son from New Orleans a week after his birth in January 2010. The actress says being a mom made her a better person. “I really appreciate where I am,” she said.
“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” Sandra said when she adopted Louis in 2010. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.”
