Baby powder is a staple in most households. Whether you’ve used it to prevent chafing, freshen smelly shoes, soothe dry skin or just to cool off down there on a hot day, baby powder isn’t a stranger to any of us. But, now it seems that the sweet smelling substance might be doing more harm than good.
According to The Associated Press, a Missouri jury ruled that Johnson & Johnson, the parent company of the popular powder, is to pay $72 million to the family of Jacqueline Fox, who died from ovarian cancer. The family believes that the talc-based substance contributed to her death.
