From scraped knees to graduation day and beyond, when you look back on life, there’s one person who has always been by your side – yo mama.
She’s your O.G. BFF and the one you learned to count on before anyone else, so naturally on Mother’s Day, you want to let mom know just how much she’s appreciated.
These five cocktail recipes are fun and classic, just like your mom, and perfect for toasting to the woman no one can ever replace.
1 bottle of French Champagne, such as Billecart
2 ounces crème de cassis, such as Vissoux or Lejay
Place two Champagne flutes in the freezer. Wait at least 10 minutes, then drop a raspberry in each and add 1 ounce of crème de cassis for each cocktail. Slowly and carefully fill the rest of each flute with champagne, then serve to Mama with a kiss and a thank you.

3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
8 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 cups fresh strawberries
4 1/2 cups sparkling water
Additional strawberry slices for garnish
Add lemon juice and sugar to a bowl and whisk together until sugar dissolves. Next, add strawberries to food processor or blender and puree until completely smooth. Run the strawberry puree through a fine mesh strainer. For the lemonade, add strawberry puree to lemon juice in a pitcher then add water and stir together. Add additional berry slices.
Add ice to serving glasses and fill each glass with lemonade and serve.
