Fans and celebrities are showing Normani Kordei tons of love after the Fifth Harmony member received racist comments on Twitter, which led her to leave. Keke Palmer took to Instagram to send the singer words of encouragement and love, writing, “You are such a beautiful girl Normani, what others say about you is a reflection of them NOT you.” Palmer wasn’t the only celeb to show Kordei support. Zendaya tweeted, “Stay strong baby girl, so much love for you,” followed by a tweet that sadly points out what we all know: that black women, specifically, those in the spotlight, are regularly targeted by racists trolls.

Stay strong baby girl, so much love for you😘👏🏽👏🏽 https://t.co/N59jCEFSyW

The sad part is that it's so common, that type of racially charged hate as black woman in this industry, you deserve so much more sis.

Fans also sent Kordei words of support using the hashtags #istandwithnormani and #WeLoveYouNormani to flood the singer with love and praise. No word on when or if the singer will return to Twitter, but until Kordei returns we’ll continue to send her positive vibes. Stay strong, Normani.
