Kandi Burruss’ Old Lady Gang restaurant seems to be coming along just fine. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram to show fans the progress made on the new eatery. “The @oldladygang’s Southern Eatery is coming along nicely! I can’t wait!!!” the caption reads.
Burruss and her husband Todd revealed plans for the restaurant last fall in an Instagram post, “My hubby & I are putting together plans for our family restaurant & getting some tips from @chefjaaion.”

In season eight of RHOA, Burruss was in the process of putting together plans for the restaurant and trying out chefs. At the time, Burruss told Bravo, “Todd and I, we also have our building for our restaurant, and so we’re gutting it and starting construction.
Earlier this year, Todd also gave fans a glimpse of the Southern eatery’s menu and t-shirts featuring Mama Joyce, Aunt Bertha and Aunt Nora, who are also involved with the restaurant. Old Lady Gang was originally set to open May 10, but there was still quite a bit of work to be done. Fortunately, it looks like things are back on schedule.
