Viola Davis made history once again, becoming the first Black woman to win five Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Davis took home the award Sunday night for her supporting role in Fences. Her previous wins include How To Get Away With Murder and The Help.

In her acceptance speech, Davis thanked late playwright August Wilson for creating a story working class Black men and women, showing that our stories deserve to be told.
Davis recently made history as the first Black women with three Academy Award nominations after receiveing a nomination for Fences. She’s also the first Black woman to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
