The cast of Hidden Figures earned the award for Outstading Ensemble in a Motion Picture during Sunday night’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards ceremony, and actress Taraji P. Henson gave an incredible speech on behalf of the cast.

“This story is about what happens when we put our differences aside and we come together as a human race. Love always wins,” Henson told the audience. “This is a story about unity. These women are hidden figures NO MORE.” She was one of many actors who used their time on stage to speak out against America’s current political climate.

Hidden Figures has been one of the most buzzed about films of the year with the film inspiring girls across the country to take interest in science and math. The story focuses on the lives of three African-American women — Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson — who provided NASA with the data needed for their first successful space mission but were almost non-existent in history books.

Henson added, “This is a story about unity. These women are hidden figures NO MORE.”
